Chapter History

The Michigan Chapter was formed on November 12, 1969. The Chapter is very active and has shown its outstanding commitment to excellence by receiving the Chapter of the Year award for 1994.

The Chapter now has some 300 members from all areas within the state of Michigan. Programs and seminars are held at locations throughout the Detroit metropolitan area. During the summer months programs are scheduled outside the metro area, including Lansing and Ann Arbor. Because of the sizable manufacturing, financial, and health care base in Michigan, site visits are scheduled as a regular part of the programs. An annual one day seminar is held in the spring often in conjunction with local and national vendors. 

Our newsletter is produced and mailed or e-mailed to each member providing local and national industry articles, vendor ads, and a schedule of Chapter events.
